I liked that topic and what it taught me about myself and about my goals. Aoi Minase got hooked to this dream and to this very feeling, the feeling of flying not because you can, but because you can not. This blissful sensation of freedom and limitlessness is something we all feel when we dream of flying. If there is a recurring topic when it comes to dreams, it is the dream of flying. The CGs were also decent, nothing to complain about on that side. Most of the girls were really cute and, despite not having many sprites for each girl, all of their expressions were cute and truthful. The backgrounds were very pretty and changed with the time of the day. The mark could have reached 9 or 9.5 if it wasn't for this shaky 3D. The 2D art is more than gorgeous, that much you know already. Especially Hotaru's and Amane's voices that I will remember for a long time I think. The sounds of wind, Hat's wings flapping and all the other diverse sounds were very good, and I loved most of the voices in here. The ambient music is decent, albeit not exceptional. I'd have liked a route for Kanako too, that could have been fun to explore the route of a perverted girl wandering in underwear for once.
If there is a route for Yoru (which is a character that you don't see being much more proactive than Hotaru during the story), there should be a route for Hotaru and Kanako too. They showed no love for Hotaru, even in Amane's route where she almost turns into a Deredere-I love that seriously. No route! Can you believe it? This is really sad. However, I was flabbergasted when I noticed, looking at a playthrough, that there was no route for her. Whatever, when I started reading If My Heart Had Wings, I found Hotaru way too cute and thought that I might as well try and get her route, since I always go for the cuter girls first. I know, I know, there is a route for Hotaru in "If My Heart Had Wings: Flight Diary" but, as this one has no English translation yet, I unfortunately won't be able to play it, my Japanese language skills being limited at the moment. Hotaru is way too cute, isn't she? It's Ageha without her tomboy side and cuter expressions. We can close our eyes on the flaws of that part, though. Luckily, the physics approach of flying is not the main theme in this VN, otherwise it would just be a splendid failure. Not only were they unclear most of the time, but some of them looked just plain wrong. The result? I don't remember anything, despite paying a lot of attention to the explanations.
But the more they were talking about how a glider works, the more confusing it got. They explain thoroughly how a glider flies, which, at first, seemed great.
